Mark Kleinknecht, Owner and President, is now the third generation to run and operate Kleinknecht Electric Company. Since joining the company in 2003, Mark has focused on keeping the KEC traditions of quality work and strong client relationships while growing the business and integrating the newest technology and 21st century practices into daily operations. Today Mark takes pride in building upon the work of his father and grandfather.
Prior to working at KEC, Mark worked in finance at Credit Suisse First Boston in research sales and at Herzog, Heine & Geduld as an assistant trader. He earned his MBA at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and his BA in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark lives in New York City with his wife and three children. He is an active member on the of the University of Pennsylvania Lacrosse Board and is involved with the Children’s Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History.
Alex joined Kleinknecht Electric in 1998. Since becoming a member of Local 3 in 1984, Alex has worked as an Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, General Foreman, and Assistant Superintendent. Alex is responsible for supervising the coordinated efforts between the Field and Project Management. Alex has been responsible for the daily management of the Rockefeller Center Field office for KEC since 2005.
Alex earned a Bachelor’s Degree at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and holds a Master Electrician’s License in New Jersey. Alex is married and a proud father of three children.
Senior Consultant, Anthony Viviani, joined Kleinknecht Electric Company Inc. in 1993. A member of Local 3 for over 45 years, he has experience in all aspects of interior renovation and new construction of electrical installations. Anthony is currently responsible for new construction work including budgeting, construction, and field supervision for projects in the $1million to 20$ million range, as well as running our DBM Maintenance Department.
Superintendent joined Kleinknecht Electric Company Inc. in October 1998. Offering over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, John is the liaison between clients, contractors & our fieldmen. His experience includes but is not limited to: Power House, installations from low to high voltage, and large generator and power installations as well as interior fit out projects. John is currently responsible for running the day to day field operations for the company. John graduated from Empire State College in 1987 with a degree in Labor Relations and has been a member of Local 3 for 36 years.
